Cowpunchers Sing
Around the Campfire
After a long day's
work, the typical cowpuncher wanted to do more than just eat and hit the
hay. Often he would join in a friendly game of cards or perhaps join
his pards in amusing themselves with music. Below are midi versions
of songs commonly song in the Old West days, as well as vintage photos
of the cowhands who sang them around campfires and in bunkhouses.
